Edwardian

Edwardian conservatories are characterised by balanced proportions, clean lines, and are usually square or rectangular, this symmetry typifies the architectural style of the time. The elegance of Edwardian design is combined with simplicity and balanced proportions. One of the popular features of the Edwardian design is that it maximises floor space, giving you more freedom to personalise the space to your own needs.

Our Edwardian conservatories are tailor made for your home and created from individual designs, helping you to create a space which perfectly matches your requirements, whether you’re looking for an entertainment area or a peaceful getaway for work and relaxation.

Edwardian conservatories are available in a choice of colours both low maintenance uPVC or traditional timber, and made to measure precisely to the size and proportion you require.

Edwardian roofs are specifically designed to your post code and they are specially engineered to include the correct wind and snow loading factors. This process ensures that your new roof will always retain its structural stability even in the heaviest snow and strongest winds. Our glazed PVC wall panels are reinforced with galvanised steel throughout to ensure that your new conservatory is as strong and durable as the rest of your house.

The foundations are typically 1.0 metre deep ensuring a solid base so that your conservatory will remain as stable as your existing home. The floors are constructed with reinforced concrete and insulated to the latest standards being used by house builders. The brick walls are 300mm thick and the cavity is also insulated to the latest building standards. You can choose a plastered finish for the internal walls and externally we will build to match your existing property so that your new conservatory blends perfectly with your home.

We offer the latest technology in our double glazed sealed units for windows and roof glazing. You can choose from a variety of Polycarbonate styles, solar reflective glass, self cleaning glass and Low E glass. Our sealed units can also be filled with argon gas for the ultimate performance in insulation and minimising heat loss. This specification retains warmth in winter but also keeps the room cool during the summer.

The New Veranda

Conservatories have always been an excellent way to blur the margin between your home and garden, we are taking this concept to an exciting new level with our Veranda Lean-to conservatory.

The glazing bars in the roof oversail the front of the conservatory and carry the glass with it forming a sheltered cocoon where you can sit in the garden whilst being protected from the worst of the elements.

The finishing touch to our new design is the addition of Bi-fold doors that can open to the full width of the conservatory, a feature we have been asked for by many customers.
